This mural was created to commemorate the life and legacy of Tralee’s very own Christie Hennessy.
The artwork aims to capture the essence of his spirit, featuring vibrant colours which reflect the emotions both evoked within his listeners and those conveyed within his song. The piece serves not only as a tribute to Hennessy’s talent but also as a reminder of the rich musical heritage of County Kerry. It stands in a public space, inviting locals and visitors alike to not only appreciate the art, but also to acknowledge the profound impact Hennessy has had on the Irish music scene.
