Janine’s paintings reflect her lively upbringing in South Africa, where her close connection to nature left an enduring mark. Using a distinctive biomorphic style, she weaves together a rich tapestry of organic shapes, eye-catching patterns and vibrant colours in acrylic and mixed media. 

In 2019, she earned her Bachelor of Fine Arts in Hong Kong. After spending fourteen immersive years in Asia she moved to Ireland in 2022. Now calling it home, Janine continues to draw inspiration from her surroundings, seamlessly blending her South African roots with new perspectives. Her work explores diverse subjects, often portraying surreal, abstract landscapes that showcase her ever-evolving artistic vision.
