Thanks to everyone who came out in solidarity for last month’s Gig for Gaza, a whopping €5600 was raised from the event and was donated directly to the Palestine Children’s Relief Fund.
Thanks to everyone who made the event possible…
- the artists who gave the time and talents to perform on the night; Teresa Galvin, Dyrt, Aoife Nessa Frances, John Francis Flynn, and to Amano who sadly couldn’t make it.
- the speakers Mia and Farrah, whose impassioned words were both heartbreaking and inspiring
- the local businesses who donated prizes and accommodation,
- Maria, John and all the volunteers from the Kerry branch of the IPSC.
- Chris, Cillian, Kieran, Michael and Sally whose magic made it all go off without a hitch,
- finally to Olive and Jim from St. Johns who allowed the use of this beautiful church for this event and ended up waiving the rental fee in support.
